My dream job starts tomorrow, January 25, 2016—I’m working for SolarCity. Not sure exactly when I realized I wanted to work for the largest solar company in the world, but the route was circuitous. I know it was early 2015 when I saw a Tesla Model S in my neighborhood and just had to find out more about it. As… Read more →
Hidden Gem at El Paso International
I found the coolest place recently. If you’ve got an extra 10-15 minutes next time you are at the El Paso airport, head to the back of the La Placita shopping area downstairs. It’s to your left before you go up the escalator to the gates.
You’ve got to go all the way back, can’t just poke your head into the La Placita to find this hidden treasure. Heck, this little display of airport history isn’t even on the airport’s own map.
But once you get back there you will find a room with old architectural renderings, models, and other hanging artifacts. Then just to the side of that is display with historical photos, plaques, and other items.
Last but not least, take a look at the wonderful painted ceiling. It shows some of the history of El Paso and Mexico.

I’m hoping to find something exciting where I can help a business brand itself and create buzz amongst its clients. I’m really good at soft and… Read more →

The new photo shows one of the revitalized fences along the streets that cross… Read more →

I’m pretty much loving how powerful WordPress really is, and I’ve just scratched the surface of its capabilities. Still have a bunch of work to do removing widgets from the side bar and I forgot how to get rid of that… Read more →
